Rusty
Rusty is an orphan. Sadly, most of his experience of life has been from inside a box with no exit. Humans trapped him in there and never let him out - not really a life at all. Unlike the places where he makes his nests now, his nasty old "home" was kept locked "just in case the pet escaped". Poor Rusty had no room to move and nobody to look after him or keep him clean.
When Rusty was pinpointed by fellow orangutans they alerted some of the Necklace Jungle helpers, who broke him free and to his delight, destroyed the box. Now Rusty lives happily in the vastness of the jungle haven. Because of his experiences he is a little shy, but he is looking forward to having a nice guardian that can accompany him as he stretches his muscles and explores his new, large world.
